Fly rods

T7 Evil Black 9'6

Are you a real bad boy? A villain who wants to spread fear amongst fish and fellow fisherman? Look no further! If Darth Vader had a fly rod this would be the one. The color black dominates with a gorgeous red ferrule trimming to give it that final Evil touch.

The original idea for this color combination came from Marc “the Limp Cobra” Fauvet.

The T7 9'6" blank:

A powerful 7 weight rod for single handed salmon fishing, seatrout, steelhead and reservoir trout. The added length of 6” compared to the T7 9’ helps to control the line easier on the water while still maintaining a very light swingweight.

The slightly deeper bending blank combined with the extra length makes this rod an ideal tool to cast single handed spey and skagit lines.

All our rods are hand built to order one at a time and are endlessly customizable. Please make an inquiry on current lead times before placing your order.

“You are probably tired of customers writing to you and telling you how much they like your rods ;) .....but that T7 'ist ein Wunderwerk'.  Been out twice after sea trout in my local estuary using an 18g SA Volantis F/I.  I'm by no means a good caster but 100' was easy to do. Generally a 9' is recommended for this type of fishing because of concerns about the swing weight of longer rods.  There was no need to worry as the T7 9'6" feels like a 9' and the extra length is useful when wading.  I enjoyed the fight of a 35cm ST (on first outing with T7) even though the rod has the backbone to handle bigger fish.  I'm simply delighted. “

"Excellent rod. I was a little surprised how good the T7 9'6" performs in strong wind."
